The Oregon Department of Transportation's Construction Quality Assurance program ensures quality materials and workmanship are used in the construction of all transportation projects administered by ODOT or its consultants.
The QA Program consists of three separate and distinct sub-programs:
- Quality Control;
- Verification; and
- Independent Assurance
Only certified personnel are authorized to conduct testing. The Technician Certification Program page includes information about what the certification involves, how to become certified, and a certified technicians list.
Regional Support
The regional QA staff is responsible for verification testing and independent assurance testing on all ODOT projects. They are also the primary resource for questions about materials testing and administration of ODOT’s QA Program on construction projects.
