This course is part of the Oregon Department of Transportation's strategy to improve statewide consistency in carrying out Oregon's highway construction program.

What does this course cover?

The Bridge Construction Inspector course provides a basis for taking the certification inspector exam, which is administered at the end of the course.

The goal of this course is to provide inspectors with practical knowledge and standard industry practices for conducting inspections. Inspectors will gain an understanding of their responsibility to verify compliance with project requirements as well as state and federal mandates.

How long is the certification valid?

This certification is valid for five years.
