State Plan

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act requires VR to submit a state plan every four years in order to receive federal funding. The plan serves as VR's roadmap for how we will assist people with disabilities in achieving, maintaining and advancing in employment and independence. The most recent VR state plans are provided on this page. Plans reflects feedback from partners, advocates for people with disabilities, VR participants, businesses and VR staff.

Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessments

VR assesses the vocational rehabilitation needs of Oregonians with disabilities every three years, as required by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended). VR uses the results to develop and update its state plan for vocational rehabilitation services, and to help determine objectives and priorities.
