Overview
The Child-Caring Agencies (CCA) Notifications Desk helps keep children safe and helps CCAs succeed by ensuring critical information is provided to those with oversight or interest in CCAs. This includes information about suspected violations, abuse allegations or investigations, licensing actions and other complaints about CCAs. This information is of great importance to government agencies who contract with and provide oversight to CCAs, boards and executive leadership of CCAs, parents of children in care, and others with legal interest in the safety of children in CCAs.
Designated Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) staff are responsible for notifications, tracking action items, compiling data and providing consultation about sensitive information in varied and complex systems of care for children. Requirements ODHS must follow are outlined in Oregon Revised Statute (ORS)
418.260.
