The Job Opportunity and Basic Skills program (JOBS) is for families who have
TANF. This program helps with employment and training, family stability and family well-being.
How it works
Family coaches meet with families to learn about your strengths and make a plan to meet your goals. The program can help pay for things like transportation, car repairs, clothing and child care.
Some of the services include:
- Training and work experience to help you get and keep a job
- Support to get a high school diploma or GED
- Help to get started in a trades or college degree program
- Help securing a place to live
- Support with parenting, making a budget and more
- Help to find medical, mental health or substance use treatment services
- English language learning
