The Board is scheduled to meet virtually on Monday, December 19, 2022, as a special meeting outside of the calendared Board events for 2022. The meeting will be live-streamed for public viewing. There will be limited time scheduled for live testimony, but written comments are always welcome and can be submitted to boardofforestry@odf.oregon.gov or mailed to the Board's Support Office up to Monday, December 19, 2022.

Field tour itinerary & handouts​​

The Board is scheduled to meet in person on Wednesday, November 16, and Thursday, November 17, 2022, in Seaside, Oregon. The November 16 meeting will be livestreamed and offer an opportunity for live testimony. The Board will have limited time scheduled for live testimony, but written testimony is always welcome. The evening of November 16, the Board will host a community social, open to the public. The field tour on November 17 is organized to be held on location with no virtual access. The tour itinerary will be released before the event, and recordings will likely be available post-tour. Van seats are full as of Nov.14, 2022.
  • Live testimony is available for item #1. Public testimony sign-up is closed as of 5 p.m. Nov. 11, 2022.
  • Consent agenda and work session asterisked (*) items are not open for public testimony.
  • Written testimony can be submitted on information items or tour stops and can be sent by mail or email at boardofforestry@odf.oregon.gov.

The Board is scheduled to meet for a two-day retreat on Wednesday, Oct. 12, and Thursday, Oct. 13. This is an informal hybrid event for members of the Board and agency leadership to fulfill retreat objectives, connect on planning matters, and discuss work for the future. There will not be an opportunity for the public to provide comments or testimony, but both days of the retreat will be live streamed for viewing and available for in-person attendance by the public. On the evening of October 12, the Department will host a community spotlight and Board social, which will also be open to the public. The Board of Forestry will join the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife Commission (ODFW) for the F​ish and Wildlife Stewardship Award for forestlands on the morning of Friday, April 22. The Commission and Board will recognize the landowners who received the awards for 2020 and 2021. Interested members of the public may attend in-person or virtually.
