August 2023 marked the completion of the library’s narration of rough house by Tina Ontiveros, a 2022 finalist for the Oregon Book Award. Join the Irene Price Society

In 1988, Thomas Price of Grants Pass, Oregon, left a large portion of his estate to the Talking Book and Braille Library. His bequest was made in loving memory of his wife Irene, who enjoyed the library throughout her lifetime.

Today, the Talking Book and Braille Library honors Irene’s legacy by naming its planned giving program the Irene Price Society. We recognize the generosity and vision of people who, like Thomas Price, choose to leave a legacy through their estates or other deferred gifts. You are invited to become a member of the Irene Price Society.

Create a legacy to support the Talking Book and Braille Library you love in a long-term way.  Designate a bequest of assets to the library by naming the Oregon Talking Book and Braille Library in your will or living trust, or by designating the Oregon Talking Book and Braille Library as a beneficiary of an individual retirement plan or life insurance policy.
