Introduction
On January 10, 2019, Metro submitted an adopted amendment of the Metro urban growth boundary (UGB) to the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) for review. The submittal was determined to be complete. Those who participated in the local proceedings received notice of the adoption from the city and were allowed 21 days to submit an objection to DLCD. DLCD received seven objections (see "Objections," below).
The DLCD director must approve the submittal, or refer it to the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC). (See
OAR 660-025-0150.) The director referred the submittal to LCDC for consideration at its July 25-26, 2019 meeting.
On July 26 the Land Conservation and Development Commission approved the Metro UGB amendment. On January 22, 2020, the Director issued a final order for this matter.
