Introduction
On February 2, 2023, the Metro Council adopted Ordinance 23-1488, which is an amendment to the Metro regional UGB that adds approximately 490.6 acres of land to the UGB adjacent to the City of Tigard in exchange for removing a comparable amount of buildable land from two locations within Clackamas County. Metro submitted notice of the adopted urban growth boundary amendment to the department on February 15, 2023.

Director's Decision Approving the Metro UGB Submittal
On May 2, 2023, the director of DLCD determined that no party filed a valid objection to Metro's submittal and approved Metro's submitted Ordinance 23-1488. As only those who submit valid objections are eligible to appeal, the DLCD director's decision, DLCD Order #001934, is final.
