Community Classes

Group of people hold bird boxesCommunity classes offer adults and children the opportunity to learn, recreate, and marvel at the curiosities of life around the Reserve. For the adventurous, we offer guided hikes, paddle trips, and birding excursions around the area. Others may find inspiration helping wildlife and learning to build birdhouses or bat boxes. These are just some of the many programs available to visitors throughout the year. Science camps and K-12 field trips and school visits are also available for kids and educators.

The community classes calendar is regularly updated with upcoming events. September events will be posted beginning August 28. You can also learn about newly added classes by subscribing to the Reserve's newsletter.
