F6e Rosters were introduced in 2016 as a way to speed up the roster data entry process and provided simplified submission processes for agencies. The F6e Roster is a fillable Excel document that, when submitted to DPSST, can be run through a program to pull out the data and import it into IRIS with no data entry required by DPSST staff.
The F6e Training Roster is meant for recording an individual training course with multiple attendees. They are recieved from instructors, agencies, conference coordinators and vendors. As such, duplicate training entries are constant with training entry. It is up to agencies to reach out to DPSST to correct any errors that are found within individual training records. To report an error, please reach out to the dpsst.f6roster@dpsst.oregon.gov email address and we will work with you to resolve the problem.
Key points regarding F6e Training Rosters:
- Instructed hours listed on an F6e Roster will be added to an officers training record; however, these hours cannot be utilized for maintenance training or for upper levels of certification.
- If a DPSST number is not listed, DPSST will skip that officer entry and they will not get credit towards the training.
- If a status of "Passed" or "Instructed" is not indicated on the F6e Roster, the course will be added to the individuals record but the hours will not count until the status is updated.
- If an individual does not posses a DPSST number, please do not include them on the F6e Roster. The DPSST Fire Certification Program also assigns 5-digit numbers to their officers, if these numbers are included on the F6e Roster, the courses will be added to other Officer/Dispatcher records who have the same number assigned to them in the Criminal Justice Program.
- F6e Rosters for CPR/First Aid courses MUST include the expiration date. If no expiration date is included, Officers/Dispatchers will not be in compliance and may receive a Deficiency Notice.
- Always double check DPSST numbers and dates before submitting F6e Rosters. Most errors on DPSST training records are from incorrect data entry on F6e Rosters.
