    Search tips:
      • If the street name contains multiple words, type only the first word.
      • If the street name contains an ordinal number (e.g. 1st, 18th) and you are not able to locate the address, try spelling out the            word (e.g. First, Eighteenth).
      • Do not include the direction of the street (e.g. W, SE). Leave the 'Direction' and 'Post Direction' fields blank.
      • If no results appear, type in a percent sign (%) in the Street Name field, then type the name of the city in the City field.
      • If the site does not yet have an address, reach out to the local building department.

If none of these tips help you find the address:
         • Check that the address is in a participating jurisdiction.
         • If the address is in a participating jurisdiction, reach out to the local building department.
         • For additional assistance, contact the ePermitting Helpdesk.

  4. When the work site address appears, click on Select if there are multiple options. (Skip this step if there is only one search result.)

Notes:

      • Do not select more than one permit type. Selecting multiple permit types may cause errors in the permitting process.
      • If the “Residential 1&2 Family Dwelling" permit type appears, select this only if you are building a new single-family home or duplex. This permit type is not meant for work on existing homes.
