Wireless Communications Section

The Wireless Communications Section is guided by the wider, long-term vision statements of the Oregon Department of Transportation and Oregon State Police.

WCS works to ensure those who are dedicated to protecting the safety and well-being of Oregonians are provided a reliable, high quality, public safety communications system that continues to function when other forms of communications fail.

The State Radio System, operated by the Oregon Department of Transportation Wireless Communications Section, includes sites statewide that serve the needs of ODOT and Oregon State Police. Many of these sites have the capacity to support other public safety users.

ODOT welcomes interested parties to inquire about opportunities for colocation at its sites. The following information has been compiled to aid those in evaluating approximate expenses, should a given site have the capacity to support the needs of the requesting party.

Colocation and Lease Rates

The Wireless Communications Section updates its colocation and lease rates annually. This rate sheet is intended to provide a general estimate and may vary from site to site. The exact rate will be determined by Wireless Communications Section prior to finalization of the agreement.
