Klondike III Wind Project

Site Description:
Klondike III Wind Project is a wind energy facility located on approximately 14,500 acres (22.7 square miles). The facility consists of 176 turbines, with a maximum blade tip height of 492 feet, and an overall peak generating capacity of 300 megawatts.
Status:

Operating. The facility commenced commercial operation in late 2007. 
Location:
Sherman County, approximately 4 miles east of Wasco and 5 miles south of the Columbia River. PDF Map | Online Map
