If you have received an Opinion and Order by an administrative law judge, you have the right to request review of the decision by the members of the Workers' Compensation Board. Be sure to follow the instructions for appeal contained in that decision. You have 30 days from the mailing date of the order to request Board Review. Click on the "Request Board Review" link on the left for more information.
The five-member Workers' Compensation Board also reviews Claims Disposition Agreements and Own Motion claims and disputes, and hears appeals from Oregon Department of Justice decisions regarding applications for compensation under the Crime Victim Assistance Program. Most decisions of the Workers' Compensation Board can be appealed to the Oregon Court of Appeals. Carefully review the appeal rights in any decision you receive.
