Manage More Than One Business

Two or more registered businesses can have the same principal broker or property manager only if the businesses have a subsidiary or affiliate relationship.

Subsidiary businesses

Businesses are subsidiaries when one business has at least 51% voting stock or controlling interest in the other business.

  1. Log into your personal eLicense account.
  2. Register the new business name.
  3. Upload a completed Subsidiary Registered Business Name Form (PDF).

Affiliated businesses

Businesses are affiliates when both businesses are owned by the same licensee, licensees, entity, or entities.

  2. Register the new business name.
  3. Upload a completed Affiliate Registered Business Name Form (PDF).
