Password reset

Expired password

If your EDX password has expired and you can’t log in, contact the Employer Service Center (ESC) to request a password reset:

Once ESC resets your password, the system will automatically email you a new, temporary password. Change your password as soon as possible by selecting the Update My Profile function from the main EDX Site Navigation menu.

Your password must be composed of the following:

  • At least seven characters.
  • Three of these character types —
    • An uppercase letter (A–Z).
    • A lowercase letter (a–z).
    • A numeral (0–9).
    • A special character (e.g., !, #, @, %).

It must not contain three or more consecutive characters from your user ID.

Locked account

If you enter the wrong user ID or password three times, EDX will lock your account.

If you are an employer reporter, contact your web administrator and ask them to unlock your account.

If you are a web administrator, contact ESC and ask them to unlock your account.

EDX security

You are responsible for protecting the security of your EDX account. Always keep your EDX login information secure.
