The Department recommends attaining a minimum of three bids for work to be performed and checking references. The Department itself can provide no references, other to verify whether a constructor holds a current, bonded license. Records for all licensed drillers are maintained by the Department; these records include bond and licensing information and may also include formal enforcement proceedings.
