The Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board meets at least four times per year. Meetings are typically held at the Portland State Office Building, unless otherwise noted on the Meeting Agenda.
Board meetings are typically two parts: General Session and Executive Session. General session is open to the public. Executive session is not open to the public. During Executive Session, the Board reviews recent facility inspections, reviews licensing actions, and reviews investigations of complaints, in consultation with the Board's assigned legal counsel. The Board may not vote on any licensing actions or disciplinary actions during Executive Session- all voting must occur during a session that is open to the public.
Dates of both past and upcoming board meetings are listed below. Accompanying documents, such as agendas, minutes, and reports that are presented during general session are posted when they become available. Typically, agendas are available approximately a week prior to the meeting.
