Orientation and Forms

Thank you for being part of SERV-OR and taking the time to complete the following orientation, forms and core courses.

Step 2: Complete the required paperwork.

The required State Managed Volunteer Pool membership perwork will be emailed to you.

If you have applied for membership in your local Medical Reserve Corps unit as well, they may have additional paperwork about which they will communicate with you directly.

Please sign and return the forms electronically following the instructions.

Step 3: Review additional resources if needed.


What next? Start working on your core training.

All State Managed Volunteer Pool members should complete the following courses within six months of joining.These trainings will help you understand the emergency response system and be ready to respond.

Training course links will be emailed to you once your SERV-OR membership application has been approved. If you have applied for membership in your local Medical Reserve Corps unit as well, they may have additional documentation and training about which they will communicate with you directly.

  • Psychological First Aid
  • Cultural Awareness
  • Bloodborne Pathogens

  • Upload the certificate, confirmation e-mail or other document directly to your volunteer profile.  Log in to SERV-OR.org, click on the My Profile tab, and then Training.
