Oregon State Hospital (OSH) is a place for passionate professionals who embrace our vision of inspiring hope, promoting safety and supporting recovery for the patients we serve.
OSH provides therapeutic, patient-centered treatment for adults with mental illness; in modern and technologically advanced facilities, for a patient population with chronic and persistent mental illness.
Under the direction of Oregon Health Authority, OSH serves more than 1,500 people per year and employs more than 2,000 staff. The Salem campus has the capacity to serve up to 559 people at a time, and the Junction City campus can serve up to 145.
