What is a CCO?
OHP has local health plans that help you use your benefits. These plans are called coordinated care organizations or CCOs. Most OHP members are enrolled in a CCO.

What is a model handbook?
CCOs each create their own member handbooks that have important information. Handbooks are like a user manual. They have instructions about how to use your OHP benefits. Handbooks also have tips about getting the most out of your care.

To make sure all members get the same facts, OHP creates a "model" handbook for the CCOs. You can think of it as handbook template. The model handbook has all of the required information and tries to make sure language is easy to understand.
