Common Credentialing Advisory Group

The Common Credentialing Advisory Group (CCAG) was a legislatively mandated advisory group consisting of people who represented credentialing organizations, health care practitioners, and health care regulatory boards. The group advised OHA on the implementation of the Common Credentialing Program.

CCAG began meeting in 2013. OHA also convened other advisory workgroups as needed to develop Common Credentialing program policies, technical components, and change management toolkits.

The CCAG had a reporting relationship to the Health Information Technology Oversight Council (HITOC), and a dependency on the work of the Advisory Committee on Physician Credentialing Information (ACPCI). ACPCI meets at least annually to develop the uniform applications used by hospitals and health plans to credential and recredential practitioners within the state of Oregon.

CCAG's final meeting was held August 1, 2018. The group is now disbanded.
