Background
The Oregon Health Authority believes that hearing from people who receive Medicaid and the Oregon Health Plan is very important to make the programs work better.
The Oregon Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) advises the Oregon Health Authority, the Oregon Health Policy Board, and elected leaders in Oregon about ways to improve or support Medicaid and related programs. Federal law requires Oregon to have a Medicaid Advisory Committee.
Members of the MAC's Advancing Consumer Experience subcommittee share ideas about what OHA can do to make sure all Oregon Health Plan members can receive the right care from the right providers at the right time to meet their needs.
The Advancing Consumer Experience subcommittee is in the process of transitioning to a Beneficiary Advisory Council, per recent federal rule changes. During this transition, we will be pausing recruitment for a period of time. Please check back in 2025 for updates regarding openings for the committee.
