The Board of Cosmetology, under the Health Licensing Office, has filed proposed rules with the Oregon Secretary of State. The proposed rules are published in the September 2023 Oregon Bulletin.
You are invited to review the proposed rules and submit comments from September 1 through October 9, 2023, at 12 p.m. (noon). To submit your comments by email, send them to Samie Patnode, Policy Analyst, at samie.patnode@oha.oregon.gov or Carrie Edwards, Qualification Specialist, at carrie.edwards@oha.oregon.gov.

A public rule hearing has been scheduled for September 19, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stakeholders can participate in one of three ways:

Permanent administrative rules are anticipated to become effective on January 1, 2024.
