The Adolescent Health, ScreenWise & Reproductive Health Section promotes health, well-being and quality of life for all Oregonians. Through the development and use of evidence-based policies, tools, educational resources, programs and clinical preventive services we support the health and development of adolescents, and sexual and reproductive health across the lifespan. We also support populations impacted by or at risk from genetic conditions.
Our programs provide technical assistance and training and conduct assessment, policy development and quality assurance activities through local public health departments, community-based organizations and with a wide array of public-private partnerships. These activities support clinicians, educators and other health professionals who provide preventive health and early intervention services for all Oregonians.
