Better information to improve patient health

The Office of Health Information Technology & Analytics Infrastructure (OHITAI) is responsible for providing policy, program, partnerships, data system infrastructure, and analytics to support health system transformation and eliminate health inequities in Oregon. Learn more about OHITAI.

Health IT: Oregon is transforming health care delivery to improve health outcomes and quality of care while reducing costs for all Oregonians. Health information technology is essential to these efforts. Timely access to health information allows for improved communications, coordination and efficiencies across care settings. Health information technology supports patient-centered care, ensuring that the right health information is available to health systems, providers and patients at the right time and place.

Health analytics: OHITAI and the Office of Health Analytics work together to manage more than a dozen data sources and programs that are used to inform policy and support health system transformation in Oregon. We provide reports and recommendations so that OHA leadership, the Governor, the Legislature, researchers and other community partners can better understand and improve upon the quality and equity of Oregon's health care system and outcomes.
