OReGO is a Pay-by-Mile Program for Passenger Vehicles in Oregon
We're pioneering a new way to fund transportation with OReGO's pay-by-mile program. ODOT has operated this program since 2015. OReGO members pay two cents for each mile they drive to help fund safe and reliable roads and bridges. New electric vehicles and vehicles with 40+mpg receive a $35 to $115 annual savings on DMV fees when the vehicle is enrolled in OReGO. If the vehicle uses fuel, the state fuel tax is credited against the road usage charges.
OReGO is open to electric, hybrid, diesel, and gas-powered vehicles rated at 20 miles per gallon or better. Diesel or gas-powered vehicles receive a non-refundable credit for the state fuel tax. There is no reduction of DMV fees. Explore the OReGO benefits to learn if this program is right for you.
