OReGO is a Pay-by-Mile Program for Passenger Vehicles in Oregon
Join OReGO and pay two cents for each mile you drive. Electric vehicles or vehicles with 40+mpg receive a $35 to $115 savings on annual DMV fees in our pay-by-mile program.
In Oregon, we fund transportation through the fuel tax, 40 cents from every gallon of fuel purchased goes to the State Highway Fund, which pays to maintain roads and bridges. As fuel consumption is reduced with more fuel-efficient or electric cars, Oregon needs a new revenue source to maintain a safe, accessible and reliable transportation system. OReGO is one solution to help fund transportation.
Drivers in OReGO pay only one fee, and diesel or gas-powered vehicles receive a credit on the gas tax. OReGO is open to electric, hybrid, diesel and gas-powered vehicles rated at 20 miles per gallon or better. ODOT has operated this program since 2015. Explore the OReGO benefits.
How Do You Enroll?

Find and write down your vehicle’s identification number (VIN), license plate number and odometer reading.
