Contracted job placement service providers
For information, refer to contract terms or email vr.contractinquiries@odhsoha.oregon.gov.
Non-contracted goods and services providers
Goods and services provided by non-contracted vendors are requested through an Authorization for Purchase (AFP). AFPs are essentially purchase orders issued by Vocational Rehabilitation field offices before goods or services are provided. The State of Oregon, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, is under no obligation to pay for services provided to VR clients before an AFP is issued.
Public Law 101-166, Section 511, Steven’s Amendment
When issuing statements, press releases, requests for proposals, bid solicitations and other documents describing projects or programs funded in whole or in part with federal money, all grantees receiving federal funds, including but not limited to state and local governments, shall clearly state (1) the percentage of the total costs of the program or project which will be financed with federal money, (2) the dollar amount of federal funds for the project or program, and (3) percentage and dollar amount of the total costs of the project or program that will be financed by nongovernmental sources.
Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation services are provided by state and federal VR funds. The VR program typically receives 78% in federal funds and 22% in state funds. For detailed information on federal funding for the program, please
