Case Summaries

Starting October 2023, LUBA has posted monthly case summaries of the Final Orders and Opinions issued. They can by found under the Case Summaries header, above. The case summaries for February 2025 are now available and can be found here.

2025 LUBA Board Member Changes 

In early 2025, LUBA Board Members Melissa Ryan and Michelle Rudd departed from LUBA after many years of dedicated service. We celebrate their contributions. Governor Tina Kotek appointed, and the Senate confirmed, attorneys Fred Wilson and Tod Bassham to serve as LUBA Board Members. We welcome them. Board Chair H. M. Zamudio continues to serve and lead LUBA.

2025 Legislation

SB 5529 is LUBA's 2025-2027 biennial budget bill. The Governor's Budget includes Policy Option Package 500 for LUBA to modernize its case management system and implement an electronic filing system.
