What is OBOB?
The Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) is a statewide reading program for children in grades 3-12. The program is sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries. Students participate through their school so check with your school to find out if they offer OBOB.
For more information on Oregon's Battle of the Books, visit the Oregon Battle of the Books website.
Do we have OBOB books?
Yes! We update our list every year and have most of the titles, however, some titles may not be available. Click the link below for your grade range to find the list of OBOB books our library has. Not all books are available in each format, so read the details carefully. Use the following key to identify each book's format
- DB: Digital Book; available on cartridge or through download from BARD (requires username and password)
- BR: Braille
If students with a talking books account or teachers with a school account are interested in getting all the available OBOB books for their grade range on one audio cartridge, please contact us at 800-452-0292 or
talkingbooks.info@slo.oregon.gov.
Happy Reading!
