Money earned from the Fallen Public Safety Officer License plate is placed in a fund managed by the Law Enforcement
Memorial Trust Fund which is a special committee comprised of law enforcement, fire department, and citizen
members.

The Oregon Fallen Public Safety Officer License plate was developed during the 2009 legislative session to honor Oregon fallen firefighters and law enforcement officers that are killed in the line of duty.
