Faith-Based Services and Support
The Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) provides inmates the opportunity to explore and practice their faith or spirituality, either individually or in a group setting. The department's Religious Services unit actively strives to present itself as open and welcoming to community faith-based groups, to establish a streamlined and consistent system, and to provide inmates with many accessible programs both inside and outside of prison.
These services depend greatly on volunteers, so services vary by institution.
For more information on faith-based services offered at a facility, contact the facility chaplain.
