Overview
Welcome to the Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) Tribal Partnership Page, which provides DOC Religious Services resources, documentation, and information/events for DOC user groups and tribal partners.
The mission of Religious Services is to provide opportunity for AICs to explore and practice their faith or spirituality individually and corporately from intake through reentry into the community.
Religious Services, the oldest correctional program in the Oregon Department of Corrections, provides a wide continuum of faith-based services to meet constitutional and legal mandates. It also advises the institutions on issues related to compliance with the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA).
