The Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program (YEHP) is working to end youth homelessness. Homelessness affects youth across Oregon in urban, suburban and rural areas. We believe all young people should have safe and stable places to stay, the services and supports they need to thrive, and opportunities to reach their full potential.
Below are resources for community partners and other advocates who are part of this work.
Oregon law (ORS 417.799) authorizes the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) to award grants and contracts to organizations serving youth who are experiencing homelessness. YEHP oversees this grant funding. YEHP was founded in 2011 and is currently part of ODHS Self-Sufficiency Programs.
