HR Professional Training Programs

The DAS – Chief Human Resources Office (CHRO) is promoting a workforce culture of lifelong learning, professional recognition, and personal growth. These training programs are a vehicle for professional growth for current HR professionals and those who want to move into an HR career in Oregon state government. Click on the links below to learn more about each training program.

​​​This training program will provide a high-level overview of human resources for participants who aren't in an HR role. The purpose of this level is to give non-HR employees exposure to the field of HR to determine if that is a career path, they would be interested in.​

The target audience is current Oregon state government employees who want to explore moving into HR.

​This training program is for current Oregon state government employees who are in entry, mid-level, or senior level HR positions. The purpose of this training program is to provide HR Professionals technical knowledge and skill in the different functions of HR in Oregon state government.
