Operations of
Oregon State Owned Airports 

The Oregon Department of Aviation (ODA) owns and operates 28 public-use airports in the State of Oregon. From along Oregon's expansive Coast line to the far northeast reaches of Joseph near the Idaho border, and southeast to McDermitt on the Nevada border; from the Willamette Valley to the Cascade Mountains; from the Columbia River Gorge to central Oregon; our airports reach all four corners of the State, and everywhere in between.

ODA's airports represent all facets of General Aviation, serving a variety of community and pilot needs. Our airports are used for transportation, recreation, aviation business, education, emergency resiliency, and they provide jobs and economic benefit throughout their local communities as well as the State.

From the bustling Aurora State Airport with a state-of-the-art Air Traffic Control Tower, to the dirt runway at the Owyhee Reservoir State Airport, Oregon's airports have been serving aviators and Oregonians for nearly 100 years. 

State Airports Manager 

The State Airports Manager oversees the operations and maintenance of all 28 State-owned airports. Operations and Maintenance includes managing land leases, aviation fuel, airfield safety, project planning and execution, budgeting, and working with tenants, as well as local, state and federal officials. 

Operations Specialists 

The operations team covers airports throughout the state and assist in airport communications, maintenance issues, upkeep, 5010 inspections, leases, planning and project execution.

MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST 
Maintains all 28 state owned airports, ODA headquarters and ODA's assets and equipment that are used in support of the airports.
