Oregon Department of Human Services welcomes the Family First Prevention Services Act implementation as an opportunity to support our ongoing transformation effort by promoting innovations and flexibility in funding prevention services. We are committed to increasing families’ access to supportive services prior to child welfare interventions. These services include in-home, skill-based parent training, mental health care, family therapy, and substance abuse and treatment programs. Quality prevention services and strong federal, state and community collaborations will be the foundations for Oregon’s Family First implementation.
