Please do not send any mail to this office. All mailed-in transactions should be sent to DMV Headquarters:


This office offers drive test appointments. Drive tests at DMV are given by appointment only. You may schedule a testing (not an issuance) appointment using DMV2U, or by calling the office number above. If appointments are full, check back daily for new appointments. You may schedule a drive test using a 3rd Party Tester or at a DMV office.

You must show proof of insurance before a drive test. You can use:
  • A valid insurance card;
  • A current vehicle liability insurance policy or binder; or
  • A DMV Certificate of Self-Insurance showing you as the owner of the vehicle. 
Note: If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be canceled or traction devices may be required. Please confirm your drive test using DMV2U or calling the office number above. DMV offices are closed for Statewide Holidays​.​

Going North

  • Going north on I-5, take the Woodburn/Molalla/Woodburn Outlets exit (Exit 271).
  • At the end of the off-ramp, turn RIGHT (east) onto Newberg Hwy (OR-214) towards downtown Woodburn (Wal Mart, McDonalds, etc.).
  • Continue East on Newberg Hwy (OR-214) for approx. 2.32 miles.
  • The Woodburn DMV will be on the LEFT next to Big 5.


Going South

  • Going south on I-5, take the Woodburn/Molalla/Woodburn Outlets exit (Exit 271).
  • At the end of the off-ramp, turn LEFT (east) onto Newberg Hwy (OR-214) towards downtown Woodburn (Wal Mart, McDonalds, etc.).
  • Continue east on Newberg Hwy (OR-214) for approx. 2.57 miles.
  • The Woodburn DMV will be on the LEFT next to Big 5.
