Posters remind bicyclists to be seen and be safe
A bicyclist rides past a commercial truck.
A new poster and brochure produced by the Oregon Department of Transportation in cooperation with the Oregon trucking industry reminds bicyclists that visibility is a key to safety. Collisions between bicycles and motor vehicles, especially large trucks, often happen because the driver doesn't see the rider. Bicyclists can be safer by being seen and following some simple tips.
