On July 1, 2021, the Oregon State Treasury began managing the Unclaimed Property Program. If you are a property manager, you must report abandoned unclaimed property to Treasury after October 1 but before November 1 of each year.
The most common type of unclaimed property that a property manager holds is uncashed checks for tenants' security deposits.
