Senate Bill 608 was passed in 2019. It requires the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) to calculate and publish each September a maximum annual rate increase allowed by law for the following year.
The maximum rent increase for 2022 is set at 9.9%. Visit the DAS Office of Economic Analysis website for more information.
