The Prodigious Fund allocates donations made by Emerald Downs horsemen to nonprofits that help Thoroughbreds. Emerald Downs matches the contributions.
 
Canter USA - Adoption site for off-track Thoroughbreds ready to start new careers. Has affiliates in California, Colorado, and Arizona.
 
Second Chance Ranch - Puget Sound area organization devoted to rehabilitation, retraining, and adoption of Thoroughbred race horses to second careers.
