Complaints

The Oregon Health Authority's Behavioral Health Division investigates and resolves complaints about mental health treatment facilities, homes, and outpatient behavioral health services. If you have concerns about a community provider, please see OHA's website).

If you have a complaint about a community psychologist, please direct it to the Oregon Board of Psychology.

If you have a complaint about a community psychiatrist, please direct it to the Oregon Medical Board. ​​

If you have a complaint about a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, direct it to ​the Oregon State Board of Nursing​.​​​​​



If you have a complaint about the Oregon State Hospital, please direct it to OSH Ombuds services​.

Individuals who disagree with the PSRB's decision in their case should consult their appointed or retained attorney. Every PSRB decision is subject to appeal by the individual affected.​
