Every youth in OYA custody – in a facility or in the community – is assigned a Juvenile Parole and Probation Officer (JPPO). They supervise youth placed in the community and provide them with opportunities to build the skills they’ll need to live crime-free lives. They provide ongoing support for the youth to connect them with education, treatment, and jobs, and to serve as positive role models. Juvenile Parole and Probation Assistants support JPPOs in case management, supervising youth in the community, and transporting them statewide. Transition JPPOs help youth find housing or health services, enroll in education, or develop job skills when they move between placements in the community.
Opportunities change all the time. Please check out our current openings on Workday.
