OSFM is looking forward to offering training and reconnecting with Oregon's Regional Hazardous Material Emergency Response Team Members and partner agencies at the 2022 Oregon Hazardous Materials Response Teams Conference.
Attendees will learn from experienced presenters as they share, inform, and help prepare them for hazmat response under varying circumstances.

2022 HazMat Award Nominations
"So Others will Succeed" (Given to a person who has worked sometimes thanklessly on helping any HazMat Team strive for success.)
"Behind the Scenes" (Given to a person who contributes to the success of any team working behind the scenes. This person can be from the Office of State Fire Marshal, Regional Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team, or someone from a different agency.)
"Call of the Year" (Given to a Regional Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team that responded to the most unique call. E.g. possible hazards, risk to life, risks to environment and property.)
"Committee" Award (Given to two or more individuals, functioning as a committee, who have worked together towards a common goal. The committee award may be awarded for a specific performance of exceptional quality or for continued, professional performance and dedication to duty by the committee as a whole.)
"Oops" Award (Given in fun, to a RHMERT Team or a team member where something went awry. E.g. a drill, call, or training.)
