Oregon law requires sex offenders to report in person at a law enforcement agency in the county where they reside. Non-Resident Students and Non-Resident Workers are required to report in person at a law enforcement agency in the county where they work or attend school. For a list of law enforcement agencies who register sex offenders, please see below.
Each agency has different hours of operation which may vary greatly by location; some require appointments to register and some allow walk-ins. Additionally, not all agencies have the ability to fingerprint offenders, and some locations who can fingerprint, require appointments. Locations listed as county jails may only register offenders who are in custody and request to report while lodged and/or upon release.
For information regarding hours of operation, appointment scheduling and/or fingerprinting questions, please contact the agencies in your county directly.
