While many boating sites are open year-round, many close seasonally, and others become unusable with low water levels or snow on unmaintained roads. The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is updating the Master Plan for State Parks in Curry County, which was last completed in 2003. The master planning process provides an opportunity to assess natural, cultural, and recreation resources, management goals, and community needs. They are excited to consider new possibilities for State Parks on the southern Oregon coast and appreciate your participation in this survey to better inform our work.

Agate Lake
- Agate Lake day use boat launch is open year-round, weather permitting. The lake was at 17% full as of last week. Water is dropping quickly. Small boats and paddlecraft are recommended.
Agency Lake
- Henzel and Petric Parks are closed for the season. The boat ramps are still accessible.
Allen Creek Reservoir
- All motorized vehicle and boat access is closed September 16-May 14. Nonmotorized access is open year around. Private property surrounds the reservoir, please respect private property signs and fencing.
Alsea River
- Benton County has cleared some of the silt from the sandbars at Campbell, Mill Creek, and Salmonberry boating access sites.
- The Port of Alsea boat launch is open. Alsea Bay has no maintained channel or jetties. Because of new siltation around and in the marina, please avoid using the boat launch on minus tides.
Ana Reservoir
- The reservoir is being lowered by five feet for the winter. Smaller boats can still launch at the County ramp.
Antelope Flat Reservoir
- Antelope Flat Reservoir boating access is open.
Anthony Lakes
- Anthony Lakes Campground and boat launch are open. The lake is a wonderful place for nonmotorized boats and boats with electric motors to enjoy. The water is cold so remember to wear your life jacket.
Applegate Reservoir
- French Gulch boating access open and there is approximately 25 feet of water over the end of the ramp. The gravel road that drops into the lake and provides low-water access for fall and winter use of the Lake.
- Copper ramp is open, weather permitting. Water is more than 37 feet below the bottom of this primitive ramp.
- Hart-Tish ramp is out of the water and closed for the season.
Badger Lake
Ben Irving Reservoir
- Ben Irving boat launch is open.
Beulah Reservoir
- The Beulah launch is out of the water.
Big Lake
- UPDATE: Big Lake West, Big Lake campgrounds, and Big Lake Day Use boating access sites are closed for the season.
Blair Lake
Blue Lake (Multnomah County)
- Blue Lake Regional Park is open. The office will be closed through early December while it moves to its permanent building. For office assistance, please contact the Welcome Center at Oxbow Regional Park .
Blue River Reservoir
- Mona Campground and the Saddle Dam boat launch are closed for the season.
Bradley Lake
- The county ramp is on the south side and there is a large beach on the west side of the lake with a short trail leading directly to the Pacific Ocean. The lake is regularly stocked with rainbow trout, making for a great fishing location away from the crowds.
Brownlee Reservoir
- UPDATE: Holcomb Park camping and boat launch is closed due to low water levels.
- UPDATE: Hewitt Park is open. Water is six feet over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Farewell Bend State Park is open. The upstream dock is closed for repairs. There is approximately 16 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Moonshine Mine boat ramp is open. There is approximately 36 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- The Spring Recreation Campground is open however the boat ramp is unusable. The water is below the bottom of the ramp. Call the Baker BLM office at 541-523-1256 for current ramp conditions.
Bully Creek Reservoir
- Bully Creek boat ramp and boarding docks are open through November 15th, weather and water levels permitting. There was approximately 1 foot of water over the bottom of the boat ramp as of last week. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
Campbell Lake
- Campbell Lake campground and ramp are open.
Cape Meares Lake
- The unimproved boat ramp is open. The launch and maneuver area are very small. Be careful when launching and retrieving, you may encroach onto Bay Ocean Road. Weeds are getting thick in much of the lake.
Chetco River
- Alfred A. Loeb State Park, Miller Bar, Nook Bar, Redwood Bar, and South Fork Campgrounds and Day Use areas have large drop offs on the access to the gravel bar.
Chickahominy Reservoir
- The boat ramp is open. Call 541-573-4400 for the latest information.
Clackamas Lake
- Clackamas Lake Campground and boating access is closed for the season.
Clackamas River
- Moore Creek, Hole-in-the-Wall and Sandstone Bridge Boat Access sites are open.
- Clackamette Park is open and available for nonmotorized launching, however the boat ramp is closed due to safety concerns.
- The Milo McIver State Park boat ramp is open. Campground will be closed for restroom upgrades and general improvements from September 16, 2024 – January 31, 2025. Day use areas will remain open.
Clear Lake (Linn County)
- Clear Lake Resort, marina and ramp are open. This is a great place to paddle, but dress appropriately because the water is very cold year-round.
- Cold Water Cove Campground is closed for the season.
Cleawox Lake
- Jessie M. Honeyman State Park small boat ramp and large day use beach and dock are open. Small boats are recommended. Remember to clean, drain and dry any boat and remove any visible vegetation. Help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
Coffenbury Lake
- Fort Stevens State Park boat launch and docks are open. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species. Campground loops L, M, N, and O are closed for wastewater, electrical, paving, wastewater, and restroom upgrades through December 2025.
Cold Springs Reservoir
- Cold Springs Reservoir was approximately 10% full as of last week. The reservoir is located approximately 20 minutes east of Hermiston. There is a primitive boat ramp and gravel parking. This is a great place to paddle, fish and watch wildlife.
Columbia River
- The Port of Cascade Locks boat ramp is open. The marina, short-term tie-up dock, and pumpout station have been winterized.
- Port of The Dalles boat ramp, short-term tie-up dock, pumpout and dump station are open. The marine fuel station is operated by the Yacht Club and offers both diesel and gasoline.
- Mayer State Park is open. Do not clean fish on the sidewalk by the life jacket loaner station. This is messy, creates a hazard and detracts from people wanting to borrow a life jacket and use the sidewalk to access the boat ramp or restroom.
- Port of Arlington's boat ramp, marina, fuel station, pumpout and dump station are open.
- Rooster Rock launch ramp is only usable for small boats and paddlecraft. The water is very low making the channel extremely narrow and shallow.
- Sandy Beach short-term tie-up dock on Government Island is damaged. Use caution when accessing the dock.
- Hammond, Warrenton, and Rainier City Marinas are open.
- Sand Island shuttle service will close at the end of October. There are two large short-term tie-up docks for recreational boater use only.
- The City of St. Helens Courthouse Docks are open. The pumpout and dump station are available.
- The Hayden Bay pumpout is online.
- M. James Gleason boating access is open. The pumpout and dump station are operational.
- Chinook Landing ramp, docks and restrooms are open. The pumpout and dump station are open.
- Hat Rock State Park, Boardman Marina and boat ramp, Irrigon Marina, boat ramp, recreational boat short term tie-up dock and pumpout and dump station are open.
Cooper Creek
- Cooper Creek boat launch is open.
Coos Bay
- UPDATE: Empire boat ramp is open. The boarding docks will be removed on November 12th to prevent damage during the winter. The docks will be reinstalled in April.
- Eastside Boat Ramp is open, and the docks are installed.
- California Street boat ramp is open, and the first half of the boarding docks have been replaced. The City of North Bend is having the remaining docks repaired. Be courteous and move your boat to the end of the docks or walk it around to the other side to keep the boat ramp open. Limit your stay on the boarding docks to 15 minutes.
- Shinglehouse Boat Ramp is open. The boarding docks have been vandalized and removed. There are no plans to replace them currently.
- The Charleston marina is open year-round. Both pumpout and dump stations are operational.
- North Spit docks are not installed and there is sediment build up on the boat ramp.
Coos River
- The Myrtle Tree boat ramp is open, weather permitting.
Coquille River
- UPDATE: Sturdivant Park held a grand reopening November 7th. The boat ramp and docks are now open.
- The Port of Bandon will be closing the boat ramp for finishing work on the following dates: November 4th-8th, 11th-15th, and 18th-22nd. The ramp will be open for use on the weekends and the crab dock will remain open throughout. Please follow posted signs. Boat Ramp Closure - Port of Bandon
- Arago Boat Ramp is open, weather permitting. Boarding docks are scheduled to be removed November 8th.
- Coquille Boat Ramp is open. Boarding docks are scheduled to be removed November 8th. Most of the sediment has been removed. There is some at the bottom of the boat ramp that may impact launching at low tides.
- The Port of Bandon boat ramp and marina, Bullard's Beach, Rocky Point, and Riverton are open.
- The campground at Bullard's Beach State Park is closed through March 17, 2025, to upgrade the main sewer line for the campground. The day use portion of the park will remain open with limited disruptions.
Cottage Grove Reservoir
- There was approximately 10 feet of water over the bottom of the Lakeside boat ramp as of last week. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
- Wilson Creek boat ramp out of the water.
Cottonwood Lake
- Beginning today November 6, 2024, the Fremont-Winema National Forest will be conducting prescribed fire operations near Cottonwood Lake. Operations will continue over the next five days with a focus on burning hand piles and other fuels collected. Treatments like this help remove excess surface fuel and increase the lands resilience to catastrophic wildfires. Smoke may be visible to the communities of Lakeview, Bly, and members of the public near the area. For Public and Firefighter safety please avoid areas where prescribed fire operations are taking place. These areas will have increased fire personnel, traffic, and smoke in the area. Operations will be well signed.
Cougar Reservoir
- Echo Park Day Use boating access site is not usable, and Slide Creek Campground is closed for the season.
Crane Prairie
- The reservoir was 71% full as of last week.
- Rock Creek, Quinn River, and Crane Prairie Campgrounds are closed for the season. The ramps remain open. Rock Creek ad Crane Prairie boating access docks have been removed.
- Browns Mountain boating access has a shallow slope with four-inch gaps between concrete planks.
- Crane Prairie Resort and Marina are closed for the season
Crescent Lake
Crump Lake

Crystal Creek
- Malone Springs boat launch will be closed from November 1st, 2024 through March 31st, 2025. Hand launching is permitted.
- Rocky Point ramp on Recreation Creek is about ten-minute drive south and trailered boats can use the boat ramp.
Cullaby Lake
- Cullaby Lake and Carnahan Parks are open.
Cultus Lake
- Cultus Lake Day Use and boating site are open, dependent upon weather and water levels.
- Cultus Lake Campground is closed. The walk-in boat ramp is open.
- West Cultus, Big Cove, and Little Cove Boat-In Campgrounds are closed for the season. Cultus Lake Resort is closed for the season.
Davis Lake
- East Davis Lake campground and boat launch are closed for the season.
Deadhorse Lake
- Deadhorse Lake Campground and boat ramp are open. The boating access is primitive and great for nonmotorized boats and boats with electric motors
Delintment Lake
- UPDATE: Delintment Lake Campground is closed for the season.
Depoe Bay
- Depoe Bay boat ramp is open. The pumpout and dump stations are offline while repairs are being made.
Depot Slough
- The Port of Toledo recreational short-term tie-up docks, pumpout and dump station are open.
Deschutes River
- NEW: Miller's Landing Park River Access and Restoration project has begun and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025. The new design at Miller's Landing focuses on improved river access for boaters and river users of all abilities by redeveloping the boardwalk. Additionally, the access point at the north end of the park will be improved for swimming, wading and slower-current water recreation. - Heritage Landing, Lava Island Falls (Big Eddy), Aspen, Slough, Besson, Tetherow and Harper's Bridge, Big River, and Tenino boating access sites are open. - Cow Meadow, Pringle Falls, Wyeth, and Bull Bend Campgrounds are closed for the season.
Detroit Lake
- The Mongold lower boat ramp is open. The Mongold upper ramps are closed, and docks are not floating.
- State Park D ramp, G loop ramp, Cove Creek ramp, Southshore ramp, Hoover ramp, Detroit Lake Marina and Kanes Marina are closed.
Devils Lake (Deschutes County)
- Devil's Lake Campground and trailhead are open
Devil's Lake (Lincoln County)
- Devil's Lake State Park West Campground and dock are open.
- Devil's Lake State Park East boat ramp is open.
Dexter Reservoir
- Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open. The water is fluctuating around nine feet over the bottom of the ramps. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
Diamond Lake
- Southshore and North End ramps are open.
- Diamond Lake and Thielsen View Campgrounds are closed. The Thielson boat ramp is still listed as open.
Dog Lake
- Dog Lake Campground and boating site are open.
Dorena Reservoir
- UPDATE: Baker Bay boat ramp is open. There is approximately 9 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
- The Baker Bay Campground and Marina are closed for the season.

Duncan Reservoir
- Duncan Reservoir is closed for the season.
East Lake
- The Hot Springs boating site is open. However, the boarding docks have been removed due to low water levels.
- East Lake and Cinder Hill Campgrounds, as well as East Lake Resort Marina are closed for the season.
Eckman Lake
- UPDATE: Oregon Health Authority on September November 6, 2024, lifted the recreational use advisory for Eckman Lake.
Eel Lake
- William M. Tugman State Park boat launch and kayak launch are open.
Elk Lake (Deschutes County)
- UPDATE: Sunset View Day Use, Odessa, and Little Fawn Day Use boating access sites are open.
- UPDATE: Elk Lake Day Use Boating Site, and the Little Fawn Campground is closed for the season. Elk Lake Resort and Point Campground are closed for boating for the season.
Emigrant Lake
- All boat ramps are closed and trailered boats can no longer launch.
Estacada Lake
- Timber Park nonmotorized launch may temporarily close due to high water flows. Contact Timber Park directly for the current status, 503-630-5120. The park will be closed November 21st, December 25th, and January 1st.
Fall Creek Reservoir
- UPDATE: North Shore Day Use long ramp-road has a shallow slope and works best for small boats and paddlecraft. There is more than 11 feet of water over the end of the upper ramp.
- Winberry and Cascara boating access are closed due to low water levels.
Fern Ridge Reservoir
- All ramps are closed for the season.
Floras Creek
- Boice Cope Campground and boat ramp are open. For general information call the Main Office at (541) 247-3386
Foster Reservoir
- UPDATE: Sunnyside Park day use, and boating access are open. The campground is closed for the season. There is approximately five feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs, lengthy permitting and closures.
- Gedney Creek, Calkins Park boat ramps and Lewis Creek Park are closed for the season.
Fourmile Lake
Galesville Reservoir
- Chief Miwaleta boat launch is open, weather permitting.
Garrison Lake (Port Orford)
- 12th Street boat ramp and Pinehurst gravel ramp are open. Pinehurst is a great access site for paddlecraft to explore the lake.
Gold Lake
- UPDATE: Gold Lake Campground and Day Use Area are now closed for the season.
Grand Ronde Lake
- Grand Ronde Lake Campground and boating access is open. This small access is approximately two miles from Anthony Lake. If you are looking for something less busy than Anthony Lake, check out this site. This hand launch site is a lovely spot for paddling.
Green Peter Reservoir
- All ramps are closed for the season and the floating restroom has been removed.
Hart Lake
Haystack Reservoir
- Haystack Campgrounds (West and South) are open for trailered boat launching. The reservoir water level is 86%. Camping | CCPRD
- Haystack reservoir is a recirculating system, and the water elevation goes up and down during the irrigation season. When reservoir storage is below 3,600 acre-feet or approximately 64% the West boat ramp is closed. When it is above that level it is normally open. Check here for current levels. Heart Lake
- Heart Lake boat launch is located less than an hour west of Lakeview. The boarding dock is broken.
Hells Canyon Reservoir
- The tunnel on Homestead Road will be closing from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for six weeks beginning October 21st for maintenance.
- The boat launch and parking are open year-round, weather permitting. Hells Canyon Creek Visitor Center is closed for the season. Recreation Updates - Idaho Power
- Copperfield boat launch is open, weather dependent. Call 541-785-7251 for current road conditions between Oxbow and Hells Canyon Dam.
Henry Hagg Lake
- Ramps A and C had approximately 25 feet of water over the end of the boat ramps as of last week. The seasonal kayak rental shop is closed for the season.
Hideaway Lake
- The campground is closed for the season.
Hills Creek Reservoir
- Packard Creek Campground is closed. The Boat Ramp is open year-round, and the water is approximately 34 feet over the end of the ramp.
- CT Beach boat ramp is out of the water.
Holbrook Reservoir
Hosmer Lake
- Hosmer Lake boating access is open.
Howard Prairie Reservoir
- Howard Prairie Resort campground is closed for the season. The boat ramp is still accessible. Contact the Parks Office at 541-774-8183 for the most up-to-date information. The marina is closed for the season. The reservoir is 40% full.
- Willow Point, Grizzly Park, and Klum Landing boat ramps are closed due to low lake levels. Paddlecraft can carry down to launch.
Hyatt Lake
- Cascade and Mountain View boat ramps are currently closed due to utility system upgrades.
John Day River
- Starvation boat ramp, J.S. Burres at Cottonwood, and Clarno are open. The river levels are very shallow and can be used by kayaks.
Jubilee Lake
- Jubilee Lake Campground is open. Nestled in the Umatilla National Forest, this high elevation lake is known for good fishing, swimming, and nonmotorized boating. From Highway 204, turn North onto Forest Service Road 64. Follow the road for 12 miles and the campground entrance will be on your right.
Kilchis River
- Mapes Creek boat launch is open.
Kinglsey Reservoir
- The Campground and reservoir are closed for the season.
Klamath River (former J.C. Boyle Reservoir)
- Topsy, Pioneer Park West and East, Spring Island boating area are closed for the J.S. Boyle dam removal. Pioneer Park East is permanently closed, and Topsy boating access is permanently closed.
Lake Billy Chinook
- UPDATE: Perry South Campground and boat launch are closed.
- Cove Palisades State Park day use, Crooked River North Loop, and Upper Deschutes are open.
- The reservoir has started dropping to winter levels (1942 ft. elevation). Beware of submerged/partially submerged hazards such as rocks and stumps.
- The Lower Deschutes Day Use facility, and Cove Palisades Resort and Marina are closed for the season.
Lake Harriet
- Lake Harriet Day Use area is closed for the season. The boat ramp is open year-round.
Lake Lytle
- The City park boating access is open. Construction of a new restroom facility has begun and is anticipated to complete in the Spring of 2025.
Lake of the Woods
- Aspen Point, Sunset Campground, Rainbow Bay and Lake of the Woods Resort boating access sites are listed as open.
Lake Owyhee Reservoir
- Gordon Gulch boat ramp is open, weather permitting. There was approximately 31 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp as of last week.
- Indian Creek boat ramp is open, weather permitting. There was approximately 47 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp as of last week.
- Leslie Gulch boat ramp is open, weather permitting. Water was two feet over the bottom of the boat ramp as of last week. Contact Vale District Bureau of Land Management for more up-to-date information (541) 473-3144.
- McCormack boat ramp is closed for the season.
Lake Penland
- Penland Lake Campground is open.
Lake Simtustus
- Pelton Marina and Campground are closed; however, the boat ramp is open year-round.
Laurance Lake
- UPDATE: Kinnikinnick East and West are closed for the season.
Lava Lake
- UPDATE: Lava Lake campground and boating access are closed for the season.
Lemolo Lake
- UPDATE: Poole Creek and East Lemolo are closed for the season.
- Lemolo Lake Resort is closed for the season.
Little Cultus Lake
- Little Cultus Campground and boating access are closed.
Little Lava Lake
- Little Lava Lake Campground and boat launch are closed for the season.
Lofton Reservoir
- Lofton Reservoir campground and boat launch are located less than an hour west of Lakeview. The boat ramp is open. U.S. Forest Service was going to install a fishing pier in September; however, the work is anticipated to happen spring of 2025.
Lookout Point Reservoir
- UPDATE: Hampton is closed for the season.
- The Meridian boat ramp is closed due to low water.
- The Signal Point Boat Ramp is closed for the season. The U.S Army Corps of Engineers is drawing the reservoir down to an elevation 75 feet below normal winter levels to help juvenile fish passage. The reservoir will be held down at the lowest level from mid-November to mid-December, then begin to refill back to normal winter levels. The entrance gate to the Signal Point parking area will remain closed until the boat ramp become usable.
Loon Lake
- The East Shore Day Use Area is open year-round. Paddlecraft can carry down from the Day Use Area.
- Loon Lake Recreation Site is closed for the season.
Lost Creek Reservoir
- Takelma boat ramp is open, weather dependent, and there is approximately 53 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- Joseph Stewart Resort and Marina are closed for the season.
Luckiamute River
- The bridge accessing North Luckiamute State Natural Area (Crocker Road) is closed due to severe structural damage caused by a tree limb. The bridge is unsafe to cross and will remain closed to all traffic until a complete overhaul can be completed in early 2025. Until that time, the only way to access North Luckiamute is by boat. Marion Lake
- Access has been restored to the Marion Lake area.
McKay Reservoir
- All boats are prohibited on the reservoir during hunting season.
McKenzie River
- The new vault toilets at Forest Glen have been installed and are open.
- Bruckart Landing, Hamlin, Forest Glen, Finn Rock Landing, Silver Creek Boat Launch, Ben and Kay Dorris State Park, Helfrich Landing, Goodpasture, Greenwood Landing, Leaburg Landing, Deerhorn Landing, Hendricks Bridge, Bellinger Landing, Hayden Bridge, Armitage Park, are open.
- Frissell, French Pete, McKenzie Bridge Day Use, and Paradise Campground are closed for the season.
Miller Lake
- Digit Point Campground and boat launch are closed for the season.
- Gideon Creek Day Use Area is closed for the season.
Millicoma River
- Doris Place and Rooke-Higgins ramps are open.
Minam River
- Minam State Recreation Area boat launch is open, weather permitting. Parking in this area is day use only. Water has been shut off to the campground for the season.
Morgan Lake
- UPDATE: Morgan Lake Campground and boat ramp are closed for the season.
Necanicum River
- The Highway 101 boat ramp is open to anglers. Call the ODFW office in Tillamook at (503) 842-2741 to receive the combination to the lock. Anglers will need to provide their ODFW Hunter/Angler ID number.
- Quatat Marine Park and Cartwright Park boating access sites in Seaside are open. The automatic gate at Quatat was vandalized so the mechanism has been removed for repairs. Gates can be opened and closed manually.
Nehalem River
- Wheeler short-term tie-up dock and boat ramp, Nehalem County Ramp, Roy Creek ramp, Nehalem H Street and Tohls Street docks are open.
Nestucca River
- The Nestucca River is high enough for drift boats to float at the first bridge, Farmer Creek, Three Rivers, and Cloverdale boat ramps. Above the first bridge is still low and boaters should use caution.
North Fork Reservoir
- North Fork Reservoir Lower Launch and Promontory Park boat launch are closed for the season.
North Santiam River
- Greens Bridge access gate is open. The gate should remain open until June 2025.
- Buell Miller, Lyons-Mehama and Stayton Bridge boating access are open year-round.
North Twin Lake
- The Campground and boating access are closed for the season.
North Umpqua River
- Colliding Rivers, Hestness, Amacher, Umpqua Landing, and Whistlers Bend ramps are open, weather and water level permitting.
- Bogus Creek raft launch is closed from the Archie Creek fire. The U.S. Forest Service is working on plans to rebuild the boating access.
Ochoco Lake
- The reservoir was 51% full as of last week. The boat launch is open, and the lower dock is partially floating. Water levels are continuing to drop. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs, lengthy permitting and closures.
Odell Lake
- UPDATE: Princess Creek and Sunset Cove Campgrounds and boat launches, and Trapper Creek boat ramps are closed for the season. Trails leading into Diamond Peak Wilderness are closed due to the Red Fire.
Odessa Creek off of Upper Klamath Lake
- Odessa Picnic Site boat ramp is open and located approximately ½ mile from Upper Klamath Lake is open. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry before launching at a new waterbody to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.
Olallie Lake
- Olallie Lake Day Use Area, Paul Dennis Campground, Camp Ten Campground and Olallie Lake Resort are closed for the season.
Pacific Ocean
- Cape Kiwanda dory launch is open.
- Sunset Bay State Park campground is open for day use year-round.
Paulina Lake
- Little Crater and Paulina Lake Campgrounds are closed for the season.
Phillips Reservoir
- The reservoir was approximately 22% full as of last week.
- Union Creek Campground and Day Use Picnic Area are open.
- Mason Dam boat ramp is open.
Pilcher Creek Reservoir
- The County ramp and docks are out of the water.
Pine Hollow Reservoir
- Both the South and North boat ramps are out of the water.
Plat I Reservoir
- The reservoir has been drained this year in preparation for flood control.
Powers Pond
- Powers Park kayak launch is open, weather dependent.
Prineville Reservoir
- The Reservoir was 56% full as of last week.
- Call Prineville State Park for current boat ramp conditions at (800) 551-6949 . State Parks is continuing to replace bumpers and make repairs to the docks. The moorage is closed for the season. The fish cleaning stations are open.
- The unimproved Roberts Bay and County ramps are open.
- The floating restrooms have been removed for the season.
- Jasper Point Campground and boat ramp and the Powderhouse Cove ramp are closed for the season.
Rainy Lake
Rogue River
- The river is low, and many ramps are in shallow water. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs, lengthy permitting and closures.
- The Almeda boat ramp in Josephine County has a large drop off at the end of the ramp. Paddlers can launch from the beach access.
- Chinook Park ramp is out of the water.
- Argo, Rand boating access, Galice, Ennis Riffle, Hog Creek, Ferry Hole, Griffin Park, Baker Park, Riverside Park, Dees Landing (Coyote Evans Wayside), Gold Hill Sports Park, TouVelle, Dodge Bridge, and Valley of the Rogue State Parks, Upper Rogue Regional Park (Shady Cove), Rogue Elk, and Casey County Park are open.
- Grave Creek boat ramp is accessible. Please be aware that Rainie Falls Trail is still closed due to landslides. BLM asks that you stay out of that area.
Rogue River Bay
- The Port of Gold Beach facilities are open.
Sandy River
- Oxbow Regional Park and boat ramp will close Fall 2026 for replacement of the water lines and repairs to the roadway.
Saunders Lake
- The county boat ramp is open.
Scappoose Bay
Scott Lake
- UPDATE: Scott Lake Campground and paddle access are closed for the season.
Scout Lake
Siletz River
- Moonshine Boat Ramp, Old Mill Park and Hee Hee Illahee are open.
Siltcoos Lake
- Westlake County Park is open.
Siuslaw River
- The Port of Siuslaw boat ramp is open.
- Schindler, Tiernan, Konnie Memorial, Tide County Parks, Mapleton, Bender Landing, Farnham, Linslaw, and Deadwood are open.
Skipanon River
- Warrenton Marina and boat ramp are open.
Smith River
- Dailey Ranch Slide is open for nonmotorized retrieval. Be aware of a log currently making it difficult for larger drift boats to retrieve at this location.
- Vincent Creek boat launch is well suited for nonmotorized boats.
- Bolon Island and Riverside ramps are open.
Snake River
- Nyssa boat ramp and docks are open. There are large voids between the boat ramp concrete planks. Use caution when launching and retrieving.
- Pittsburg Landing and Dug Bar are open.
South Twin Lake
- West South and South Twin Lake Campground and boat ramp are closed for the season. South Twin Day Use Area remains open.
South Umpqua River
- Three C Rock Campground and paddle access is open.
- Charles V Stanton Park boat ramp is closed. The river is very low, and the water is below the bottom of the boat ramps at Happy Valley, and Pickett Park.
Sparks Lake
- Sparks Lake boating access, and day use are open.
Spring Creek
- Collier Memorial Park campground, and Spring Creek Day Use are closed for the season.
Suttle Lake
- Blue Bay, Link Creek, and South Shore Campgrounds and boating accesses are closed.
Tahkenitch Lake
- Tahkenitch Lake boat ramp is closed for damage. The docks adjacent to the boat ramp and the parking area remain open. - Tenmile lake is experiencing low water at the County launch. The end of ramp buoys are installed, and low water signs are posted. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs, lengthy permitting and closures.
- Tenmile Lake County Park nonmotorized launch, use caution when using the nonmotorized kayak launch. A portion of the launch dock is submerged.
Thief Valley Reservoir
- The reservoir is dry until next season. No boating access is available.
Thompson Reservoir
- UPDATE: Thompson Reservoir Campground is now open.
- Eastbay Campground is open.
Tillamook Bay
- All Port of Garibaldi facilities are open.
- The Memaloose boat launch is open.
Tillamook River
- The Burton Bridge ramp is open.
Timothy Lake
- Pine Point boat launch and West Shore non-motorized launch area will remain open until they are inaccessible by snow. Be aware of submerged hazards such as rocks and stumps.
- Stone Creek, Oak Fork, Gone Creek, Pine Point, North Arm and Hoodview are closed for the season.
Todd Lake
Toketee Lake
- Toketee Lake campground and boating access are open.
Town Lake
- The Town Lake ramp near Pacific City is open.
Trask River
- The river is high enough to float down river from Loren's Drift boat ramp. The river is still low above the ramp and boaters should use caution.
- The city boat ramp at Carnahan Park is open.
Triangle Lake
- Triangle Lake Park is open. The lake is very popular for towed watersports and paddling. Remember motorized and nonmotorized boaters want to use the water.
Trojan Pond
- Trojan's reservable picnic areas and flush restrooms are closed. The ponds and trails are open year-round with limited services, limited parking and a portable toilet.
Tualatin River
- Rood Bridge Park is open. However, the kayak launch is closed, and the boarding dock has been removed for the season.
- Cook Park boat ramp is open. The boarding docks have been removed. New boarding docks to be installed in Spring 2025.
- Hazelbrook Road nonmotorized access under Hwy 99 is open for use.
- Willamette Park Paddle Access, and Fields Bridge Park boating access sites are open.
- The Stark (Rivergrove) boat launch is open but in need of repairs. Recommend paddlecraft launch. Limited parking is available on the park side of the street.
- Browns Ferry, Tualatin Community Park, and Jurgens Park boating access sites are open.
- The Farmington boat launch is open. In June 2024, construction began on a new roundabout at the intersection of Farmington and River roads. During this project, Farmington Paddle Launch will remain open. Be prepared for detours or delays entering and exiting the site. Work is expected to be completed in fall 2025.
Turner Lake
- North Turner Lake boat ramp is open from dawn to dusk, unless the gate is closed.
Umpqua River
- Salmon Harbor east basin dredging project has been delayed due to weather and is expected to continue into the first week of November. Approximately 8,500 cubic yards of sediment will be removed, including the Coast Guard moorings and 300 feet of the west half of A-dock. Please remember, this project is dependent on tides and may require operations to continue through the night. As a result, there may be bright lights and noise during nighttime hours. The start and end dates are approximate and may shift depending on conditions. Boaters are urged to avoid the area for safety and are advised to use the West Basin boat ramp during this time.
- Salmon Habor West basins, pumpout and dump station, Gardiner ramp, Bumble Bee, Rainbow Plaza, Scottsburg, Scott Creek, Sawyer Rapids, Yellow Creek, James Wood, Cleveland Rapids, and River Forks, boating access sites are open.
Upper Klamath Lake
- The lake was 37% full as of last week.
- Odessa campground is open.
- Rocky Point Boat Launch and docks are open.
- Eagle Ridge, Hagelstein, and Wocus Bay Parks are closed for the season. However, the ramps are still accessible. Boarding docks have been removed for the season.
Unity Reservoir
- The State Park Day Use is open. However, the boat ramp is out of the water.
Wahtum Lake
Waldo Lake

Wallowa Lake
- Wallowa County Park and Wallowa State Park are open. The boarding docks have been removed for the season. Be advised that the ramp is not plowed or maintained during the winter.
Walton Lake
Warm Springs Reservoir
- The water is fluctuating at the end of the ramp.
Wickiup Reservoir
- UPDATE: North Wickiup Boating Site is open; however the docks have been removed due to low water levels. The reservoir was 26% full as of last week.
- Gull Point Campground is closed for the season.
- North Davis Boating Site and campground are closed for the season.
Lower Willamette (Columbia River to Willamette Falls)
- Sections of the boarding docks at Milwaukie Bay Park have been removed to avoid collecting debris during the winter rains. There will be a small section of the dock available until late spring when debris flows subside and the sections are replaced.
- The Charlie S. Brown Water Sports Center in Roehr Park is closed until further notice for repairs to the dock.
- The debris boom at Jon Storm Park short-term tie-up dock is damaged. Use caution when operating near the piling. The restroom, pumpout and dump station are open. The parking lot is currently closed for the I-205 widening project to allow construction access.
- George Rogers Park is open.
- Foothills Park, Tryon Cove, and Cedaroak boat launches are open.
- Sportcraft Landing is open. The ODOT bridge contractor is working, so watch for barges and work boats in the area.
Middle Willamette (Willamette Falls to Salem)
- The I-5 Boone Bridge Replacement Project is replacing the bridge that crosses the Willamette River in Wilsonville. This project would include adding a new walking and biking option over the river. Options for the walking and biking access include staying in the same alignment with the bridge or separating and having it land at Boones Ferry boat ramp and marina. - Molalla State Park boat ramp, Boones Ferry ramp and docks, Champoeg State Park short-term tie-up dock and bent paddle launch dock and Rogers Landing boating access site are open.
Upper Willamette (Salem to Eugene)
- The Aquathusiast ramp in North Riverfront Park (Michael's Landing) is open. Vehicle access from 1st and 2nd Streets are open.
- Willamette Park in Corvallis (Crystal Lake) boat ramp is open.
- Independence Sports Park boat ramp, Buena Vista County ramp, Bowman Park, Takena Landing, Hyak Park, Peoria Park, McCartney Park, Harrisburg Landing, Whitely Landing, and Island Park are open.
Willamette River – Middle Fork
- Jasper Bridge boating access is closed. Paddlers can carry down from the main parking lot at Jasper State Recreation Area located approximately 5 minutes from the bridge.
- Pengra Access has a single ramp open. There is a large cottonwood on the downstream edge of the ramp that is projecting across the river partially.
- Westfir Confluence Takeout gate will remain closed for the season but is accessible for recreational use. Please call Cascades Outdoor Center at 541-246-9007 or Westfir City Hall at 541-782-3983 for the gate code.
Willow Creek Reservoir
- Willow Creek Campground is closed for the season.
Willow Lake
- Willow Lake Park boating access is closed for the season.
Wilson River
- The river is high enough to float down river from Mills Bridge. The water is still low above that location and boaters should use caution.
Woahink Lake
- Jessie M. Honeyman State Park and the East Woahink Lake boating access is open.
Wolf Creek Reservoir
- The water is very low. The County ramp open and docks are out of the water. Paddlecraft can carry down to launch.
Yaquina Bay
