Step 2: Locate and Contact a Program of Interest:
To join AmeriCorps, you apply directly to the program(s) of interest to you. AmeriCorps members serve full-time, half-time, and reduced part-time positions. Types of positions will vary between programs. You can view current OregonServes' programs on our
Program Directory page.
Each program has its own selection process. After choosing programs that are interesting to you, contact the program to learn more about their open positions and the selection process. Selection to serve in AmeriCorps typically includes an application and an interview.
